COVID - 19 POLICY

This pandemic has made access to healthcare extremely difficult. I am happy to say that I offer both In-Person and Virtual Consults at this time! I am fully vaccinated and plan to follow the recommendations of the CDC as it pertains to healthcare employees. I expect your honesty in regards to the Covid Questionnaire. I will be wearing a mask during any in-home visits, but it is up to you whether you wish to wear one or not.
BOOKING/PAYMENTS

Book your consultation here on my website! You can find my availability through the services page. After booking your appointment, I will send an invitation via email to join Practice Better (the medical charting system I use). Once you sign up, you will be prompted to fill out and complete all my intake/consent forms which will confirm your appointment. 2 days before your appointment, an invoice will be sent to you via Practice Better. If you choose to pay online, I accept credit/debit cards through Square within the charting system (Square fees apply). You may also choose to pay cash or check which I will accept at the time of our appointment. Please make checks out to Hungry Baby Healthcare, LLC.
PRIVACY POLICY

As a healthcare provider, my standards of practice fall under HIPAA legal guidelines. "The HIPAA Privacy Rule establishes national standards to protect individuals' medical records and other personal health information and applies to health plans, health care clearinghouses, and those health care providers that conduct certain health care transactions electronically. The Rule requires appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy of personal health information, and sets limits and conditions on the uses and disclosures that may be made of such information without patient authorization. The Rule also gives patients rights over their health information, including rights to examine and obtain a copy of their health records, and to request corrections" (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 2002).
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY

I understand that family life, especially with newborns, can be very chaotic and things can change at the drop of a hat! If you are unable to keep your appointment and wish to cancel, please contact me with at least 12hrs notice to avoid my $40 cancellation fee. If you need to reschedule, please reach out promptly so we can fit you in as soon as possible at a more convenient time.

For documentation and tele-health purposes, I use Practice Better. This software service is compliant with HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR, so your information and our virtual consults will remain confidential and secure.
INSURANCE
January 13, 2023
At this time, I am not in-network with any insurance agency. Upon request, I can supply a super bill for you to submit to your insurance agency for possible reimbursement.
